Two Armenian servicemen were blown up by a mine in Nagorno-Karabakh, Novosti Armenia reports.

The incident occurred on January 4, but officially it has been reported only today. The injured servicemen have been receiving treatment in the hospital of ‘Stepanakert’ (Khankendi). Both had legs amputated.

Yesterday, they have been delivered to the Central Clinical Hospital of the Armenian Defence Ministry in Yerevan. The condition of one of them, N. Marukyan, is estimated as critical.

Meanwhile, The press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry reports on January 8th, 2018 that an Armenian soldier, 20-year-old Vache Chilingaryan has been killed in the occupied Karabakh as a result of a skirmish on the line of contact.
