RUSSIAN BANK WILL INCREASE ITS CAPITAL IN AZERBAIJAN

Russia’s second-largest state-owned bank VTB plans to increase the capital of its Azerbaijani subsidiary by 265 million manats in the first quarter of 2018, VTB said in a statement, reports Financial One.

According to the information, head of VTB Andrey Kostin said this to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting in the framework of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

‘The parties also discussed issues of attracting investments in the economy of the country, in particular, VTB’s participation in the organisation of the country’s borrowing in international financial markets,’ the report said.
