Sochi hosts a meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Sputnik Armenia reports.
‘I want to wish you success, I hope relations will develop as progressively as they have so far,’ Putin said.
In his turn, Pashinyan assured in the continuation of allied relations with Russia.
‘No one has put and I don’t think will put under question the importance of Russian-Armenian relations. We have the energy to give impetus in both political and trade and economic sense,’ he added.
Pashinyan noted that many tourists from Russia now come to Armenia: ‘It’s very nice, I think they like it.’
‘We highly appreciate the balanced position that Russia had during our domestic political crisis: a very constructive position, which is valued not only by our government, but also by the society,’ he said.
